Job summary

Independent Lives is seeking a part-time PA to support a 7-year-old autistic boy in Angmering/Littlehampton area. The role involves after-school shifts on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays with a total of 8 hours per week, at an hourly rate of £12.71.

Responsibilities

• Go on walks with the child and his sister with the other PA.

Hours per week: Tuesdays & Fridays 3pm - 6pm & Saturdays 11am - 3pm

Hourly pay rate: £12.71 ph

I am looking for a kind active PA to support my autistic son.

He is a lovely, kind 7 year old boy who has interests in technology, music and lego.

You will be working with another PA who looks after my daughter.

Hours will be Fridays and Saturdays for 8 hours per week total (extra hours available during holidays).

Duties

• Going on walks with him, my daughter and the other PA
• Bathing him
• Playing with him
• Sitting with him at mealtimes
• Other relevant duties as required
• Companionship
• Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities

• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Hygienic, tidy and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Ideally enhanced DBS checked (but Independent Lives can arrange)
