Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a P2P Service Delivery Team Leader for a fixed-term contract (10–12 months) in Reading. You will oversee PO creation, invoice processing and related account management within Purchase to Pay, ensuring service levels and compliance.

The role emphasizes team leadership, performance management and continuous improvement. The position requires extensive P2P experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive efficient processes with a focus on accuracy and regulatory

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fast-paced purchasing and/or invoicing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• CIPS qualification is advantageous.
• SAP experience—Supply Chain & Finance modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Service Delivery Team to process transactions in line with KPIs and SLAs.
• Ensure processes supporting requisition to payment are robust and auditable.
• Manage performance against targets at individual and team level.
• Develop stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
• Identify root causes and deliver corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and change management.
