TeacherActive Limited is supporting a high-performing 11-16 secondary school in Henley-on-Thames to recruit a qualified P.E Teacher. The role is full-time and long-term with an ASAP start, delivering practical and classroom PE across KS3/KS4 and helping students build skills and confidence.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a PE specialism, have proven KS3/KS4 experience, and demonstrate strong classroom management and engaging teaching.

Job Title: P.E Teacher

Location: Henley-on-Thames

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

The school is looking to appoint a P.E Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful P.E Teacher will deliver practical and classroom-based Physical Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and supporting students to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of physical education.

The successful P.E Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a relevant P.E specialism


• Experience teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4


• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Physical Education


• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills


• The ability to deliver engaging lessons for students of different abilities


• A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching
