Job summary

Venn Group's Estates & Facilities recruitment team is recruiting a Painter & Decorator to join a prestigious organisation in Oxford. This permanent opportunity offers a varied role supporting the maintenance, repair, and presentation of a diverse estate, helping to ensure buildings and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

You will prepare, repair and decorate interior and exterior surfaces, manage prep work, apply finishes, and contribute to health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven painting and decorating experience including preparation and finishes.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, repair and decorate interior and exterior surfaces across buildings.
• Undertake surface prep, including filling, sanding, priming.
• Apply paint, varnish and finishes with professional workmanship.
• Prioritise tasks in coordination with the Maintenance Operations Manager.
• Assist with events requiring minor decorative adaptations.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety requirements.
• Support general building maintenance duties as required.
• Participate in on-call rota and out-of-hours support.
