Job summary

The Profs is seeking Oxbridge admissions tutors to join our award-winning University Admissions Branch in the United Kingdom. Ideal candidates will have attended Oxford or Cambridge and possess extensive admissions tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

You will design bespoke admissions packages for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses and regularly update client managers on student progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a 2.1 or higher from a recognised university.
• Attended Oxford or Cambridge University.
• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver bespoke admissions packages for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and regularly feed back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
