Job summary

The Profs is seeking an Oxbridge admissions tutor to join our award-winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended Oxford or Cambridge and possess substantial admissions tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

You will tailor bespoke admissions packages for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate applications, manage a portfolio of students, and provide progress updates to client managers.

Qualifications

• A 2.1 degree or higher is required.
• Education from Oxford or Cambridge is preferred.
• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Thorough knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test prep and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.

• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
