WorkWave seeks an applied data scientist or ML engineer to turn raw operational data into products that help customers make better decisions. This is not research-only; you will own the end-to-end lifecycle from framing problems to deployment and measurement.

You will work across data engineering, product, and engineering teams to ensure models are usable, explainable, and measurable in real product workflows. Remote (UK-based) with right-to-work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applied data science, ML engineering, or data engineering with production ownership.
• Strong Python and ML libraries for tabular problems (scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM).
• Solid SQL expertise required.
• Experience deploying models and monitoring in production.
• Ability to frame problems, build data pipelines, and ship end-to-end models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the outcome: define problems, build models, and ensure customers act on insights.
• Learn the domain to ensure models reflect real-world semantics.
• Build the data you need (dbt/Snowflake) when features don’t exist.
