Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser in Wick on a flexible, part-time contract. You will manage POS placements, stock replenishment, and audits, ensuring displays stay on-brand and well presented. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with 5–20 hours per week on average.

You’ll work autonomously, build strong relationships with store colleagues, and plan cost-efficient visits to maximize impact while enjoying holiday pay and pension scheme opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising is advantageous but not mandatory.
• You will need a friendly, confident attitude and reliable behavior.
• Excellent communication skills and high integrity are essential.
• Location within 15 miles of the advertised area is required.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Bring products to life on the shop floor and manage point-of-sale displays.
