Job summary

Regional Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our established legal team in Plymouth. You will manage a varied residential caseload and take responsibility from instruction through to completion, delivering a high standard of client service.

The ideal candidate will have strong residential conveyancing experience, good technical knowledge of property law, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Conveyancer qualification or equivalent relevant conveyancing qualification.
• Strong experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Good technical knowledge of residential property law and procedure.
• Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Acting for clients on sales, purchases and other property transactions.
• Reviewing contracts, title documents and property information.
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
• Reviewing searches and identifying potential issues.
• Advising clients on the legal aspects of their transactions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Preparing and reviewing relevant legal documentation.
• Managing exchange and completion processes.
• Dealing with post-completion requirements.
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant client files.
• Providing regular updates and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Managing your own workload and prioritising competing deadlines.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
