Job summary

Barnardo's is seeking a Night Project Worker 1 in Leyland to lone work during the night, ensuring safety and safeguarding for young people in the service. You will record in line with Barnardo's policy and ensure rules are followed, working 37 hours per week on a permanent contract.

Experience with young people or vulnerable adults is required, along with safeguarding knowledge and IT literacy to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with Young People and/or vulnerable adults.
• Able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding.
• IT literate with the ability to accurately record information.

Responsibilities

• To lone work for parts of the shift and to be awake throughout the night on site.
• To ensure health & safety routines are carried out within the building.
• To safeguard the young people within the service.
• To record in line with Barnardo's recording policy.
• To ensure young people adhere to the rules of the service.
