Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions seeks a Night Transport Planner in Kirkby (L33), near Liverpool. You will support overnight fleet planning, liaise with drivers and customers, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

The ideal candidate has transport planning or logistics experience, strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work under pressure during night shifts (9:00pm–7:00am). This is a full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or logistics.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Planning team to achieve daily delivery and operational targets.
• Assist with transport planning and driver communications.
• Monitor vehicle movements and make real-time operational decisions to resolve delays and disruptions.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and drivers, delivering a high level of customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports using transport management systems and MS Office.
• Use systems including TOPS, VBS platforms, Excel and Word.
• Work in line with the company's values, promoting honesty, transparency and teamwork across the operation.
