Job summary

PBS4 is seeking a dedicated full-time Associate in Bearwood to support a 30-year-old man with autism and deafness. You will work on wake nights, following a 42-hour week schedule, and provide compassionate, patient support to help him stay safe and engaged in daily activities within a home environment.

Responsibilities

• Support a 30-year-old man with autism and deafness; provide reassurance when anxious and maintain professional boundaries
• Assist with handyman-type activities and safe engagement in home/outdoor tasks
• Support with cooking, meal prep, shopping, and day-to-day domestic tasks; assist during periods of heightened anxiety
• Be patient, build trust, adapt to Jon's communication style, and enable safe access to home and community activities
