Job summary

PBS4 is seeking a Part-time Permanent Associate in Southampton to support Julian, a 36-year-old with autism and learning disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, shopping and meal prep in a safe, positive, and respectful manner.

Experience in social care is desirable; full UK manual driving licence is preferred for some shifts and flexibility is required. PBS4 offers training and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care desirable
• Calm and patient in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to set clear boundaries and follow through on commitments

Responsibilities

• Support Julian with shopping, cooking, household tasks and personal care
• Communicate with Julian in a calm and positive manner
• Engage in activities and outings; maintain safety and well-being of the individual
