Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Night Manager in Slough to lead the night team, ensuring availability and top shop floor standards while the store operates around the clock. You will drive safety compliance and smooth night-time operations across all departments.

The role requires managing a rolling rota, four nights over seven including weekends, and making quick decisions to maintain excellent customer service and efficiency throughout the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confident in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach night colleagues and team leaders to deliver high shop floor standards.
• Oversee operations during the night, ensuring store remains open 24 hours and safe.
• Ensure promotions, layouts and hotspots are in place for trade on night shift.
• Deliver efficient trading activity and manage waste and returns where applicable.
