Job summary

Sainsbury's in King's Lynn is seeking a Trading Assistant to keep shelves tidy, stock replenishment, and deliver outstanding customer service across the store. You’ll work overnight in a fast-paced environment, handling stock and assisting shoppers with product knowledge and promotions.

You will also help with deliveries and learning a range of skills through full training. A strong team ethos and a positive attitude are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Overnight availability for night shifts.
• Friendly and welcoming with customers.
• Own tasks and use initiative to solve problems.
• Flexible to work across the store with training in multiple skills.
• Comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology.
• Strong attention to detail to keep the store clean and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with questions.
• Date-check fresh produce and grocery items.
• Support with deliveries and other store tasks as required.
• Develop knowledge of products, services and promotions to offer recommendations.
