Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is looking for Trading Assistants to stock shelves and serve customers in our fast-paced stores. You’ll replenish items from the warehouse, check dates on fresh produce, and keep shelves clean and well-presented. You’ll support deliveries and help across the store as needed.

Qualifications

• The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc) that you may be required to handle.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

Responsibilities

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products.
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
