Zusammenfassung

Turning Point in Manchester is seeking an Overnight Recovery Worker to support people experiencing mental health crises. You will provide compassionate, person-centred support during night shifts in the Recovery Lounge, helping people feel safe and understood.

You'll triage and assess risk, assist with de-escalation, document records in line with GDPR, and work with partners to enable positive next steps in recovery. A relevant qualification or lived experience is welcomed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working in mental health, health and social care or related support environments.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide compassionate, recovery-focused support to individuals in crisis.
• Assist with triage, risk assessments, safety planning and crisis de-escalation.
• Create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for service users.
• Support individuals to make informed choices and identify positive steps in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with GDPR and organisational requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure best outcomes.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the service, including general housekeeping duties.
