Right at Home UK in the Medway Towns is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Care Assistant to provide overnight support to a single client in their own home. You will deliver person-centred care, companionship and safety throughout the night.

The role focuses on dignity, independence and continuity of care, with full training and opportunities for progression within a trusted, award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Clear communication and a person‑centred approach.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexibility to work waking night shifts.
• DBS update preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide reassurance and companionship during the night.
• Assist with personal care and mobility as required.
• Support with toileting, continence needs and light housekeeping.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the care team.
• Ensure client safety and comfort throughout the night.
• Maintain accurate care records and communication with the team.
