Job summary

Pride Veterinary Referrals in the UK is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for Emergency Out of Hours on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join a specialist, nurse-supported night team delivering high-quality emergency care to referral patients.

The role averages 33 hours per week, with a 3-week rota. You will work alongside our night vets and VCA team to implement treatment plans and seek On-Call Clinician advice when needed.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working out of hours in emergency cases.
• Strong communication and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work as one of our overnight vets on a 3-week rota.
• Collaborate with night nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants to follow treatment plans.
• Provide out-of-hours support for specialist-led teams.
