Job summary

VC Evidensia UK Brighton is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon for a Weekend Emergency Out of Hours role at our main hospital site. This part-time position covers weekends and bank holidays 08:00-18:30, averaging 11 hours per week, and focuses on emergency daytime consultations and triage.

You will work with our ECC vets and nurses, consulting inpatients, delivering high-quality patient and client care, and supporting the development of colleagues in a busy hospital environment with access

Qualifications

• Requirement: Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility).
• Experience in out-of-hours emergencies preferred.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues; collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide out-of-hours emergency care and consultations.
• Triage and manage urgent cases during daytime hours.
• Collaborate with ECC vets and nursing team to deliver high-quality care.
