Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking compassionate overnight support for a 14-year-old client in Preston. The role involves staying awake from 9pm to 7am to monitor health needs, provide personal care, and manage practical tasks at the family home.

Full specialist training will be provided and you’ll work as part of a dedicated care team. The position offers flexible nights with 3-4 shifts weekly, support from a Care Manager, and access to development resources through the Active Learning Hub.

Qualifications

• Experience providing overnight care for a child with complex health needs.
• Willingness to stay awake and monitor vitals and equipment.
• Full specialist training provided on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Stay awake overnight (9pm-7am) to monitor the client.
• Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and equipment management.
• Follow care plan and work with the Care Manager for ongoing support.
