Job summary

Bright Futures Care Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker for our three-storey Warrington Children's home, caring for five children aged 7-18 with autism and learning disabilities. The home offers a safe, calm environment, with spaces for play and family visits.

You will check on residents overnight, record important details, respond to changes, and maintain a supportive, professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable.
• A care-related qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Health & Social Care) is desirable.
• Warm, person-centred approach with safeguarding, wellbeing and professional boundaries.
• Calm, resilient and proactive with the ability to work independently overnight.
• Strong communication and teamwork with accurate recording and handover.

• Respond promptly to changes or concerns during the night.
• Maintain a calm, positive and reassuring environment.
