Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Night Assistant at The Springs, Cambridge, to support residents in Independent Living services during the night. The role involves providing personal care, maintaining dignity, and ensuring safety in a 37.5-hour week schedule from Wednesday to Saturday 21:30–07:30.

You will work with a diverse group of adults, contributing to care plans, promoting independence, and documenting care and medication support while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a customer-focused residential environment.
• Basic administrative skills with ability to use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time personal care with dignity and privacy.
• Recognise distress and identify ways to reduce it.
• Encourage independence wherever possible.
• Participate in care management programmes.
• Assist with laundry and catering tasks.
