Job summary

Prime Life at St Michaels Care Centre in Waddington, Lincolnshire, is seeking Night Care Assistants to provide dignified support during 8pm–8am shifts across a seven-day week.

You will assist residents with personal care, welfare checks, nutrition, mobility and companionship, while maintaining accurate records. Full training is provided; prior care experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable, but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and getting ready for bed.
• Carry out routine welfare checks during the night to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Support residents to dine and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobilization with mobility aids and equipment as needed.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and wellbeing.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
