CVL:LDN is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager (Overhead Lines) to drive growth in overhead arboriculture services across utility clients. You will develop targeted strategies, build a strong pipeline, and secure contracts with DNOs and major infrastructure providers.

The role requires strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement, plus the ability to collaborate with operations for smooth mobilisation of new contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development within overhead utilities or arboriculture management.
• Experience securing contracts with DNOs, utilities, and major infrastructure clients.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a targeted business development strategy for overhead arboriculture services.
• Identify and secure new opportunities across DNOs, utilities, and infrastructure providers.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to hit revenue targets.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, procurement teams, and stakeholders.
• Identify contracts, framework agreements, and partnerships.
• Lead tender submissions, bids, and pricing exercises.
• Monitor market trends and procurement opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry events and client meetings.
• Collaborate with operations to mobilise and deliver contracts.
• Provide market intelligence to shape future growth.
