Job summary

Network Rail in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Section Supervisor to support the Section Manager with inspection, maintenance and renewal of assets. You will supervise a team, manage delivery within budget and ensure compliance with standards and Safe System of Work.

The role involves high voltage overhead line equipment, working at height, shift work including nights and weekends, and on-call duties. You will help with asset condition assessments and developing work plans while coaching

Qualifications

• Experience directing and supervising worksites and safe delivery of work.
• Knowledge of resource and work organisation/planning processes and systems.
• Knowledge of overhead line equipment inspection, maintenance and asset condition assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assure quality of work delivered, ensure asset conformance to standards.
• Carry out inspections and prepare safe method statements and work plans.
• Assist in staff management, allocation of resources and performance monitoring.
• Support asset renewal identification and delivery of maintenance plans.
