Streamline Search Ltd is seeking an Overhead Crane Engineer based in Nottingham, England. The position involves servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support for overhead cranes, requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills, as well as experience in the lifting equipment field.

The engineer will work Monday to Friday with a salary range of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum. Candidates should possess relevant engineering qualifications and be capable of working in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on overhead cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
• Experience with servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repair work.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working at height and within industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdown support on overhead and gantry cranes.
• Inspection, testing, and commissioning of lifting equipment where required.
• Completing service reports and associated documentation accurately.
• Participating in call‑out and overtime work when required.
