Job summary

Rolls-Royce Derby is seeking an Overhaul Methods Engineer to join Engineering Delivery - ET&S. The role focuses on developing and verifying Overhaul Methods and Maintenance Instructions for Engine Assembly/Disassembly, and publishing instructions to the domestic and external MRO network.

You will drive quality, cost, and delivery, apply APQP tools, and support the MRO network with technical responses and method verification.

Qualifications

A strong eye for detail with ability to read engineering drawings.
Results-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
HNC or above in Engineering (Mechanical or Aeronautical).
Experience with PFMEA, MSA, 8D, FAIR, MVA and design for MRO/assembly.

Responsibilities

Be part of a team of experienced engineers, driving towards the Engine Team goals focusing on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and development of capability.
Drive for Zero Defects using APQP tools and coordinate with functions to reduce risk and drive First Time Right.
Plan and manage activities, communicating status to relevant stakeholders.
Support the MRO Network with Overhaul Methods implementation and provide technical responses to queries.
Develop professional competency toward signatory authority and mentoring others.
