Job summary

Command Recruitment in Peterborough is seeking an Oven Rectification Technician / Polisher to join a new state-of-the-art vehicle preparation centre. You will machine polish freshly painted vehicles to showroom-quality finish and rectify paint defects, supporting production targets while maintaining high quality.

We offer day and back shifts with PAYE, a bonus of up to 10%, paid annual leave, a company pension, and long-term career progression in a growing operation with immediate starts

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Polisher or Rectification Technician in a high-volume Bodyshop.
• Excellent knowledge of polishing techniques, compounds, abrasives and finishing products.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine polish freshly painted vehicles to showroom-quality finish.
• Rectify paint defects such as dust contamination, runs, orange peel and silicon.
• Flatting and polishing panels with professional equipment.
• Inspect paintwork to ensure high quality standards.
• Collaborate with paint and Bodyshop teams to meet production targets while maintaining quality.
• Follow health and safety procedures in a modern Bodyshop.
