OutSystems Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer for a highly innovative company, ideally based in London or remotely within the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team and develop their OutSystems platform. The role involves working in a lean, agile environment with release cycles across weekends, requiring support at least once a month on a rota basis.

If you are within commuting distance from Central London, the role offers a hybrid working model with three days onsite and two days remote. For those further afield, a fully remote position is available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement trading systems.
• Develop live updates, pricing reports, and screens.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to document requirements and obtain signoff.
• Utilize C# and full-stack Microsoft solutions to collaborate with colleagues in developing, testing, and delivering requirements.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of experience with low-code application development on the OutSystems platform.
• Fundamentals in C# and full-stack software engineering.
• Proficiency in relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, including designing databases, and developing SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working with business users.
• Bright, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or related field.

Contract Details

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £90k depending on experience plus discretionary bonus

Location: London-based or remote across the UK
