OutSystems Software Engineer

We are seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer for a highly innovative company, ideally based in London or remotely within the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team and develop their OutSystems platform. The role requires bright and passionate technologists to impact their mission to innovate and enhance software solutions within a lean, agile team. Due to their release cycles across weekends, candidates should be available to provide support at least once a month as part of a rota. If you are within commuting distance from Central London, the client prefers a hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote; otherwise, fully remote work is considered.

As an OutSystems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing trading systems, as well as developing live updates, pricing reports, and screens. You will work closely with business users and stakeholders to document requirements and obtain signoff. Proficiency in the full Microsoft software stack, particularly C#, is essential, along with collaboration to develop, test, and deliver solutions.

Permanent Profile Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in low-code application development using the OutSystems platform.
• Fundamental knowledge of C# and full-stack software engineering.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working with business users on solutions.
• Bright, collaborative, and a proactive problem solver.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or a related field.

Contract Details:

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £90k depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus

Location: Ideally London-based or remote across the UK
