Are you an experienced youth worker, mentor, or passionate educator looking to make a life-changing difference for young people outside of mainstream schooling? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Outreach Worker / Unqualified Teacher to join a progressive Alternative Provision (AP) serving the Colne and wider East Lancashire area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity designed for an adaptable, empathetic, and resilient practitioner. You will work directly with young people (aged 11-16+) who face barriers to education, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, neurodivergence, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), or school refusal.
Rather than standard classroom-based teaching, this role is centered on relationship-building, re-engagement, and delivering functional learning tailored to each student's unique pace and interests.
