Job summary

New Way Tuition Ltd is seeking an Outreach Tutor to support students who do not attend mainstream education due to SEN/SEMH risks. The role involves 1:1 and group sessions in Maths, English, PSHE, and mentoring, conducted at pupils' homes, libraries, and schools.

You will work with EYFS to Year 11 and up to GCSE/Functional Skills levels, with a current Enhanced DBS essential. Flexible hours and potential self-employed or umbrella contract options.

Qualifications

• Previous tutoring/teaching experience with diverse age groups.
• QTS/QTLS/PGCE or Bachelor's in Education, English, Maths, or related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for student success.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods for individual needs.
