Job summary

New Way Tuition Ltd is seeking an Outreach Tutor to support students who do not attend mainstream education due to SEN, SEMH, or risk of exclusion. You will provide one-to-one and small-group sessions in Maths, English, PSHE, and mentoring at pupils' homes, libraries and schools.

The role requires experience with children, SEND understanding, and a current Enhanced DBS. We value flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for helping every student reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience with diverse age groups.
• QTS/QTLS or PGCE or a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for student success.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised tutoring sessions to students of diverse ages and abilities.
• Inspire and motivate students to overcome obstacles and achieve academic goals.
• Build strong connections with students and families through clear communication and genuine care.
