Salary – £10.60 per hour

Full Time opportunity available p lus many additional employment benefits offered. No experience is required as full training is provided.

Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job)

The aim of this role is to provide support within a team working onsite and in the community, giving a consistent, safe and appropriate level of care to people with autism, communication and learning difficulties, high levels of anxiety, sensory processing issues and those who may need positive behaviour support.

Our ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience of supporting or caring for others either within a personal, work environment or voluntary is desirable but not essential as we provide full training.
  • The ability to forge relationships and support people to have the best day, however they wish to spend it.
  • Experience of working within a team as well as working independently desired.
  • The ability to work flexibly across the organisation where necessary
  • Empathy together with great communication skills.
  • Willingness to support service users with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Committed to the concept of supporting people – maximising employment, training, community and leisure opportunities
