Job summary

The Department of Physics at the University of Oxford is recruiting an Outreach Administrator to support the COMPOS Outreach programme on a 2-year fixed-term basis. Based in Oxford, you will provide admin support for students and tutors, coordinate course administration, and help monitor attendance and outcomes.

You will answer queries, maintain enrolment records, and generate regular reports to evaluate programme impact in collaboration with academic staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational institution.
• Familiarity with Canvas or another learning platform.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar databases.
• Excellent organisational, customer service and IT skills essential.
• Experience with outreach and access programmes and reporting on Salesforce desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer correspondence to the COMPOS inbox and maintain up-to-date records of all students enrolled in the programme.
• Assist with organising tutorial group allocations and monitoring tutor attendance and assignment grades.
• Monitor and follow up with students with low attendance or not submitting work; report safeguarding or data security concerns.
• Produce regular reports on key programme indicators and assist with evaluating programme impact.
• Provide ongoing support with students and tutor queries and general course administration.
