Job Opportunity: Outreach Family Support Worker

Location:Liverpool, L11
Contract:Initial 3 months, with possibility of extension
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

About the Role:
Liverpool City Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Family Support Worker to join the Liverpool Family Help team. This rewarding role focuses on delivering early, strength-based interventions to children and families, aiming to address emerging concerns and improve long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Family Help Assessments with families.
• Develop and implement tailored support plans.
• Lead and coordinate Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings to monitor progress and identify evolving support needs.
• Work directly with children and young people to understand their views and ensure their voices shape support planning.
• Collaborate with a wide range of multi-agency partners to deliver a whole-family approach to care and intervention.

About You:
We're looking for someone with experience in family support, early intervention, or a related field who is passionate about making a meaningful difference. You should be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and assessment skills.
