Job summary

Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our team. You will be registered with the NMC and bring post-registration experience, mentoring ability, and knowledge of multi-specialty surgical procedures.

You will lead clinical care, supervise junior staff, and support the Outpatient Department with scheduling, audits, and training, while ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the NMC and have post-registration experience.
• Experience in mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures.
• Ability to lead and supervise junior staff.
• Flexible and able to adapt working patterns to meet service needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of nursing staff and students.
• Assist the Outpatient Clinical Head of Department with scheduling, audits, inductions, and training.
• Oversee smooth day-to-day operation of the Outpatients department.
