Job summary

Nuffield Health Woking Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to lead clinical care, role-model excellence and mentor junior staff within a dynamic surgical team. • Be NMC registered and be a qualified nurse.
• Ideally have teaching and assessment qualifications.
• Mentoring or Level 2/3 management qualification is preferred.
• Experience in multi-specialty surgical procedures.
• Excellent clinical skills and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and act as an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
• Recognise talent, nurture junior staff and mentor them to excel.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and clinical supervision of staff and students.
• Involvement in recruitment, induction, performance reviews, training and development.
