North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Outpatients registered nurse to join our outpatient services and advance patient care. You will support the outpatient nursing team, delivering safe, compassionate care within an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration is essential.
• Mentorship module/Preceptor training is required or desirable as noted.
• Knowledge of current clinical evidence-based practice.
• Knowledge of current professional issues related to nursing.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work.
• Desirable venepuncture skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Coordinate patient pathways, promoting a smooth and efficient experience for all.
• Support the development and training of staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Drive innovative service improvements and implement best practices across sites.
• Venepuncture - confident in taking blood samples or willing to undertake training.
• Vascular dressing competency - able to assess, manage and apply vascular dressings safely.
• Minor procedures support - able to assist clinicians during minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety and smooth clinical flow.
