University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Clinical Lead to join the Outpatients team at Poole. You will provide professional and operational leadership of the outpatient department, ensuring safe, patient-centred care, and work with the Trust leadership to drive service development and quality improvement.

Clinical governance, risk management and cross-site working are essential, with flexible weekend work and the supervision of junior staff and budget

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/AHP with professional body (NMC or HCPC).
• Degree in Nurse/ relevant speciality or equivalent experience.
• 2 years surgical ward or theatre experience at band 6 or above.
• Band 7 experience.
• Experience of managing budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead nursing teams across outpatient areas, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centred care.
• Promote evidence-based practice and maintain clinical competence through clinic sessions.
• Coordinate staffing for clinics and lead staff development and appraisal processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide operational leadership across sites.
