We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Outpatient Manager at the Roy Shaw Centre. This role involves overseeing all outpatient activities including providing professional leadership and ensuring that agreed professional standards are reflected in practice within the services provided.
As an Outpatient Manager, you will work as an integral part of the place-based Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the provision of specialist palliative care outpatient, support, wellbeing, and outreach services to meet the individual needs of patients and carers.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

You will be accountable for the overall management of the Outpatient Unit, leading on recruitment, deployment, and supervision of staff and volunteers, and ensuring professional standards are reflected in practice to meet the needs of the patients, prioritizing those who find services hard to access.
