Join us as a dynamic Head of Department at Ashtead Hospital, Surrey at a time of growth as Outpatient Manager where you’ll help lead, manage, and nurture a close-knit team in Pre-assessment, Outpatients and Pathology. You will be part of a strong clinical and supportive management team reporting to the Head of Clinical Services.

This pivotal role involves both managerial responsibilities and active clinical participation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As Head of Department, you will:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the departments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and manage staff rotas to support department operations from Monday to Saturday.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and management teams to drive departmental growth and transformation.
  • Maintain clinical expertise by working alongside the team
  • Work closely with our consultants to support business

Where you’ll be based

Ashtead Hospital is a 46-bed facility with 15 outpatient consulting rooms and a private GP service. It features four theatres and two minor operations rooms, supporting both NHS and private patients. The hospital has been rated "Good" by the CQC.
