Job summary

Welbeck Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support safe, compassionate patient care across outpatient clinics. You will work with consultants, nurses and the team to prepare rooms, assist with procedures, record observations and ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, ongoing professional development and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care during outpatient clinics alongside clinicians.
• Support with patient flow, admissions and discharges.
• Perform clinical observations and basic tasks such as ECG or vital signs as trained.
• Complete required documentation accurately and maintain patient records.
• Provide information and support to patients and carers during visits.
