Welbeck Cambridge is seeking a caring healthcare support worker to assist patients through imaging appointments in a private diagnostic setting. You will prepare patients for examinations, support radiographers, and help maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and experience in a clinical environment. Strong communication, organisational skills and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and clinical environment experience.
• Confident supporting patients throughout care journey and maintaining dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and remain calm in a busy clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Support patients throughout imaging appointments and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and act as a chaperone when required.
• Assist radiographers and clinicians during consultations and procedures.
• Ensure patients are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records using RIS/PACS and CompuCare.
• Support stock management, equipment checks and departmental organisation.
• Recognise and escalate patient concerns or changes in condition appropriately.
• Contribute to a safe clinical environment through infection prevention and radiation governance.
