Job summary

Icon UK Limited is expanding its Reading Cancer Centre and seeks a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support outpatient care under supervision of registered practitioners. You will help with clinical procedures, maintain safety, and record patient information with confidentiality.

Applicants should have a Care Certificate and Level 2 healthcare qualification, strong communication skills, and a flexible team player approach. Private sector experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate and Level 2 healthcare qualification required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills essential.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of safe, compassionate patient care under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment adhering to IPC and governance.
• Accurately record patient information and escalate changes promptly.
• Collaborate within MDT to support patient experience and admin tasks.
