Job summary

United Response is looking for a kind, compassionate Support Worker to join the Boscawen Farm team between Redruth and Truro. You will help people engage in outdoor activities, grow skills and enjoy the farm environment, with full training provided.

This role requires driving a 9-seater and working 22 hours per week on Tue, Wed and Thu. You will contribute to a person-centred, supportive culture that emphasises empowerment and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate and enthusiastic about helping others.
• Able to drive a 9-seater vehicle.
• Experience of working outdoors on a farm or rural setting is beneficial; full training provided.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude to support people to take part in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily running of an outdoor rural Hub.
• Support with general farm and outdoor activities.
• Encourage people to try new things and participate in activities.
• Track outcomes to help people progress.
• Create a fun and safe environment.
