Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Process Operator to join the Process team and help keep our water and wastewater services running smoothly across Bradford, with sites near Marley WWTW and Keighley. The role is 37 hours per week, outdoors, and involves travel between sites.

You’ll respond to alarms, take samples, and perform practical maintenance. We provide full training, a company van, PPE, and a rotating shift pattern including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical mindset and willingness to work outdoors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management to plan day and workload.

Responsibilities

• Responding to RTS alarms and pollution incidents.
• Gathering evidence at suspected pollution incidents.
• Lifting, checking, and unblocking pumps.
• Taking samples, examining results, and troubleshooting issues.
• Raising follow-on work for internal support services.
