Job summary

Hillier Nurseries Ltd, a long-established family business near Romsey, invites applications for a Nursery Assistant in the Landscape Cash & Carry division at Brentry near Romsey, Hampshire. You will join a team and contribute to plant care and customer service in an outdoor setting.

The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, Mon-Thu 7.30am to 4.00pm and Fri 7.30am to 3.00pm, with overtime possible at enhanced rates during peak season. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• No prior horticulture experience required; training provided.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Reliable, self-motivated and flexible with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining plants and nursery grounds.
• Assisting with goods in and trade orders.
• Carrying out general nursery maintenance tasks.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
