Bromsgrove District Housing Trust in Bromsgrove is seeking a proactive Neighbourhood Operative to help keep communities clean, safe and well maintained. You will work across bdht estates, carrying out street cleansing, litter removal and waste disposal, plus some grounds maintenance.

The role involves outdoor work, handling vehicles and equipment safely, and assisting with the cleaning of homes and empty properties when needed. A full driving licence is required and basic DBS check applies.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on attitude and ability to work independently.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with good time management.
• Basic health and safety awareness is required.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out street cleansing, litter collection, and waste disposal in local neighbourhoods.
• Assist with cleaning and clearance of customers' homes, empty properties and gardens.
• Support relocation and storage of goods for the business.
• Work safely around customers and colleagues and handle waste properly.
